Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark

I teach the Capstone 1 and Capstone 2 courses in the Computer Engineering Technology program at CCSU. The initial part of Capstone 1 is ideation: coming up with ideas for products that the students are interested in and want to build. We use Lucidspark to do KJ analysis of the ideas that the students come up with to define what areas everyone is interested in. This helps define the projects and helps everyone figure out what they really want to do.
  • Capturing textual statements
  • Organizing statements in different ways
  • Allowing the team to work together at the same time
  • Being able to export the final product in a visually pleasing way
  • Some of the functionality I asked about was actually implemented. It was just hard to find.
  • The students are easily able to come up to speed with how to use it
  • It makes it easy for me to capture the outcome
Not giving it a 10 (it's still good!) because I had to be shown how to do something I was looking for but thought the system couldn't do.
As I said, I don't use Lucidspark on a daily basis, but I do find it very useful for some parts of the Capstone process when team members need to interact over ideas/work products.
Excellent! For the last two years, I've been teaching mostly remotely, and Lucidspark slotted right into that environment.
I was fortunate enough to be able to speak with some Lucidspark folks who could give me quick pointers on improving my use of the tool.

Do you think Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite's feature set?

Yes

Did Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?

Yes

Working with remote teams, or even with teams in the same room in COVID times, being able to interact with others without touching the work product (I used to use sticky notes to do the KJ analysis) is a good thing.
