Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
Mailchimp is the sole email marketing tool we use in my office for mass emailing (newsletters) purposes. To an extent, we also use it for automated email marketing purposes. It is an intuitive and almost self-explanatory platform to use, with specific features which help us to align all aspects of our email marketing campaigns to maximum effect.
- Customer segmentation
- Email campaign A/B testing
- Integration with 3rd party business tools such as Slack, Google Analytics
- Analytical insights can be better
- Alignment of different aspect of our email marketing strategy.
- Improved engagement with customers, courtesy its marketing automation features.
- Reliable email deliverability - with Mailchimp, 95% of our emails end up in the inbox folders of our target recipients.
In this regard, our experiences with Mailchimp [have] been simply straightforward. Because we use Mailchimp for everything around email marketing, it often means that we are able to reliably measure the impact of one aspect of our email campaign with Mailchimp and sort out the lapses using another aspect of Mailchimp. For example, we can target a new customer with an offer email based on their customer journey and then follow that up by adding them to specific email marketing lists depending on their attributes.
With Mailchimp, I got to appreciate the importance of managing all of an organization's email marketing campaigns from within a single platform. Coming from a previous work institution, where we maintained multiple tools, I have come to know first-hand how much efficiency an all-in-one email marketing tool like Mailchimp can bring to an organization's overall marketing chances.
