Overall Satisfaction with Malwarebytes
Individuals at the university have purchased Malwarebytes for their university-issued computers and for their own computers. We use it to protect our computers from malware.
- Malwarebytes catches some malware apps that other security programs don't catch.
- The user interface is easy to understand.
- Malwarebytes used to be available for one-time purchase. Now the premium version is available only for yearly subscription.
- Occasionally, Malwarebytes misses a suspicious application that other security programs catch.
- Worry-free use of my computer.
- More time to do real work because there's no time spent managing Malwarebytes.
It's difficult to make a fair comparison because I use Bitdefender on a Mac rather than a PC. Bitdefender finds many suspicious emails that it can't remove or quarantine, so I have to remove them manually. Malwarebytes doesn't do that.
