Overall Satisfaction

  • The greatest immediate value that Marketo brings to the table is its ability to work across multiple channels to create dynamic marketing programs. In addition, its integrations with SalesForce allow Marketo to draw clean lines between a system designed for marketing and lead gen ... and a sales system of record.
  • Thus far, I have been pleased with the quality of the software ... and above all other things, it's ability to fit into our hybrid social environment and orchestrate key processes that relate directly to clean customer experiences.
  • Ideally, I'd prefer REST Web Services over SOAP, but that is purely preference. The Admin Console does a great job of spanning both technical and business functions without robbing from either side of the fence.
  • At this time, we are only aware that we are able to execute our program as desired. Results are still TBD.
I hold reservations for "Great" technologies, so we'll see in time. 7 to me means it does a good job at doing what it should do. It fits well in a hybrid environment, and just makes sense. Hoping that as we see more results and maturity down the road, I'll be able to bump this score a notch or two higher.

  • In my role, we are using Marketo as our contact and lead management system for our customer community. Through the use of its SOAP, Munchkin, and WebHook integrations we have crafted an amazing system for managing and nurturing prospects and customers through the use of our community platform.

Its early, and I'm usually a skeptic, but early signs are looking good..

If you are familiar with Marketing Automation Systems, then yes ... it is laid out in such a way that makes sense, IMO.


Not 100% about the entire instance, just my direct responsibilities.


In general, support is responsive.


Admin Console, integrations, and general ease of use.


  • Salesforce, Jive
Unsure about Salesforce, but Jive integration was simple with both Jive and Marketo's integration capabilities.

Vendor Relationship

Limited exposure to vendor, except for support, and the support staff were just fine.
