Marketo is used by the business to business marketing team across the whole organization to support communications. It solves our communication gap between sales and marketing.
Pros
- Easy to learn and train different user across the org.
- Building lists that are accurate is easy and seamless.
- Easy of use is unparalleled. Building emails, landing pages and campaigns is the best of any marketing automation platform I have ever evaluated.
Cons
- True email nurture functionality does not exist.
- Email WYSIWYG could be more flexible and tolerate copy and paste.
- Better basic analytics is always appreciated.
- Eloqua and Silverpop Engage
Marketo's UI is one of the cleanest and by far the easiest to use. The drag and drop features as well as the WYSIWYG editors makes creating assets fairly simple. The smart lists and smart campaigns are the best in the business when it comes to building campaigns. However when it comes to true dynamic nurture programs, this might not be the platform for you.
