Overall Satisfaction with Marketo

Our marketing recently migrated to Marketo and we love it. It's very easy to work with and does everything we want it to do and more!
  • Creating landing pages for events, download
  • Email marketing
  • Data enrichment
  • More graphical design of flows
2 companies have merged. One program had to go.
Ideal to deliver download e-mails after submitting forms.

Learnings & Advice

Marketo is easy to use but the best way to learn it is using it, trying stuff with trial-and-error.
Our integration with GoToWebinar is really advanced. You can only link one webinar to one program, but we managed to create programs where you can choose out of a number of webinars
Keep trying things. We still learn everyday.
What we've learned, is that is practically a solution for everything. Just surf around and you will find it.
Make sure you use a good naming convention, so you'll find anything in Marketo without a problem.

Using Marketo

Evaluating Marketo and Competitors

Yes - Eloqua.
Merger of two companies
  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
  • Prior Experience with the Product
  • Existing Relationship with the Vendor
Our company merged with another one. Both companies used a different MAP. So one MAP had to go. The users of Marketo were more satisfied.
I don't think we would change anything.

Marketo Training

  • In-person training
  • Self-taught
We had our training by LeadFabric. Migrating from Eloqua to Marketo, we we were back up and running in a few weeks.
The best way to learn Marketo is diving into the program and try stuff out.
That's also the best way to remember what you've learned.
