Overall Satisfaction with Mendix

I'm a Mendix developer for around 1 year now. I implement the Mendix platform at a broad range of clients ranging in finance, production, transportation, and insurance. The companies I work for use Mendix to transform their business so it will be ready for the digital age we are living in. The biggest problem Mendix solves is the lack of understanding and communications between software developers and the business. With Mendix the business can build together with software developers to construct apps that really help the business to move forward.

We mostly develop apps for clients but we also created frameworks that can be used as base building blocks.
Mendix is the ideal tool to work in an agile way; it helps teams to collaborate more efficiently and faster.

I prefer Mendix because of its open structure the others mostly have vendor lock-in.
Mendix is good to use as a middleware platform because of its great integration capabilities. Also, it builds in a visual BPN like structure so it is easy to explain to other people what happens in some processes.
