Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)

File sharing, Teams collaboration, meetings, file management and storage, email, calendar, etc. We use it across our entire organization on both Macs and PCs. It allows us to have virtual meetings, contact co-workers at any time via their cell since they have the Teams app on their phone. We use it to share files between groups and people, collaborate on said files, store files for later retrieval.

Pros

  • File sharing and storage with OneDrive.
  • Collaboration using Teams.
  • Access to all apps from one portal.

Cons

  • OneDrive doesn't work on Macs (at least not ours).
  • I can't get OneDrive to work on my iPhone.
  • More functionality with Teams meetings from a mobile device.

  • We are able to track projects and productivity via the Planner app within the Teams app, allowing our team of 8 people to individually manage their own projects, assign coworkers to their projects, and create reports at any given time.
  • We are able to collaborate collectively via Teams and screen sharing, working on a project in real-time together, making decisions, finalizing projects.
  • I struggle logging into my Microsoft 365 when I have my personal account and my work account. Either one takes over and doesn't let me log into the other one or it won't log out so I can log into another account. I hate having two accounts.
Microsoft has all the tools you need in one place, easily accessible and easy to use. The Teams app is reliable and doesn't glitch or make it hard to hear someone on a meeting like Google Meet does. Zoom has vulnerabilities making it not as reliable or me as comfortable using it.

It's great for enterprise use across an organization because you can easily collaborate via Teams meetings, calls, file sharing, and email. We've used the Teams meetings in very large groups (more than 100 people) and in very small groups and it works great in all instances. I like having the ability to mute someone else when their background sound is distracting. I struggle at times to save my files to OneDrive. I work with very large graphics files that include folders and lots of assets. Sometimes I am unable to upload all my files at once. There are also times I try to download files and get errors when I try to unpack the zip file so I have to redownload it.
