Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Power BI

Microsoft Power Bi is used mostly by the commercial department as end-users because they can see the information from our Datawarehouse and can visualize all the reports they request to DWH Department. We started using Microsoft Power BI because before it the reports were created in excel sheet and the graphics need to be created by a user from the Commercial Department so they needed to manipulate the data from an excel and then make reports and presentation depending on their needs.
  • Easy to manipulate graphics and reports
  • Good looking reports
  • Easy to use their interface and very intuitive for end users
  • Add more default templates
  • More examples or reference to create dashboards
  • Add more educational reference in the website
  • Reduction of the time expended for the development team to create new reports
  • Reduction of the time to create reports and dashboard
  • Reports on time for the executive team

Did implementation of Microsoft Power BI go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Microsoft Power BI again?

Yes

Is very easy to create dashboards and reports and you don't need a development team to modify reports or add filters or change the way of how you see the information. Also, it has excellent integration with the Microsoft suite that helps you to share easily the reports or add them to SharePoint.
Microsoft needs to improve the contact center support because when you call them it is very difficult that you can find the solution with them, so you have to contact a local vendor to find out the solution to your issue. Also, the information that you find in the web from the official channels is not good so you have to find a third party information.
Microsoft Power BI is well suited to create executive dashboard and reports, also it is very easy to manipulate or add filters depending of the information that you will need to present in a conference or to the CEO.
Once you create a report the users can manipulate the information without the help of the development team and with it create new reports or export the information to Excel.
