Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Project

It is used to manage projects.
  • Resource allocation
  • Time tracking
  • Using it fully can be time intensive.
  • Project allows us to track what it what i really costs us to develop software.
I have not used any other project management software to compare Microsoft's product with.
We never required support for Project but if its support is anything like the support for Microsoft's other products it would be top-notch.

Microsoft Project is perfect for complicated projects with multiple resources since you can track costs as they incur. It is probably not the best for a single task since it may take longer setting up Project than the time it takes to complete the task.
