Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Microsoft Teams is I think the most using software in our organization. We scheduled meetings, trainings, projects, tasks etc all on ms teams. It supports hd video quality. The calendar schedule feature is also very good. You can create a group for a particular project and upload the related files in that group also. It allows you to share the screen and you can also record the calls. The software is also very compatible with mobile app version.

Pros and Cons

If you are in training period you can record the calls and can watch it again. So that in case if you forget something then you can cover it again.
You can schedule the calls and team meeting and send calendar invites to your team mates
You can create a group for some particular projects or tasks and can chat with the team mates and also upload the files in the group.
You can also access your team system by allowing the remote access.

The price is little bit high for the paid version.
It will be good if it requires a 2fa security process to login.
The teams windows appears automatically when start the PC. It will be good if starts only when we want it to start.

Alternatives Considered

Zoom

Zoom is also very good software for task management but if you are working in an organization more than 1000 employees MS teams will work much better. It also have some additional features like remote access and screen recording. You can create group and upload files too in the group. That's why I recommend MS teams.

Likelihood to Recommend

For project and task management it is the best software I have ever used. It is having features of group meeting, conferences, team calls, calendar schedules, screen sharing, HD resolution and screen recording and all. But If you have small team organization then you can go for other options whose price is little bit low.
