Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Visio
Visio is our go to solution for creating diagrams and documentation. We have found no other tool that matches the scope and flexibility of Visio, and now with the free basic web app that is included in Microsoft 365 business plans, we can use it across the organisation without needing to purchase addition licences.

- Workflow and process documentation
- Sharing diagrams with others in the organisation
- Although easier to use than previous versions, there still is a learning curve
- Interoperability with other diagramming applications is limited
- Reverse engineering functionality that was present in early versions has been removed
- Free Visio web app with Microsoft 365 Business plans
- Extensive stencil set
- Excellent UML support
- Visio has helped us to create a reusable template set, saving costs when documented common processes and systems.
- Our knowledge gained in using early versions of Visio has not gone to waste, meaning lower training costs when upgrading to the latest version.
- The free Visio web app licences included with Microsoft 365 Business plans has meant we can have more people in our organisation use Visio without increasing OPEX.
