Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Visual Studio Code
It's [the] best lightweight code editor used by most developers in all departments.
- Support for multiple programming languages with Intelli-Sense
- Availability of extensions and support (Live Server, CSS Peek, Prettier and many others)
- Free of cost
- Built-in code formatting would be appreciated (just like Prettier - Code formatter)
- A virtual device emulation in side panel for seeing output of code will be great
- Needs a built in DB support jut like in XAMPP
- Free of cost
- Light weight
- Extensions and support
- Positive (decreasing development time)
- Positive (increase rate of prototype applications)
- Negative (developers not using core solutions more), they keep sticking to this
- Atom, Notepad++ and Visual Studio IDE
It has [the] right balance of solutions for [a] wide range of problems. Atom or Notepad++ are lighter but [have fewer] features, [Microsoft] Visual Studio [Code] is full of features but [a] tad heavier.
