Overall Satisfaction with MIP Fund Accounting

I use it to enter various transactions and reports. The A/P Module is the one I use the most. Using MIP Fund Accounting to do check runs is very convenient for me. I also love the layout: The drop-down menus, the road map/flow chart, and the modules on the left side make MIP Fund Accounting user-friendly. I also like the options for reporting and charts. The charts make our finances easier to understand. This is some of the best software I've ever used! When I come to work, MIP Fund Accounting is the FIRST program I open. I ALWAYS look forward to using MIP Fund Accounting. Every time I use it, I feel like I'm being spoiled!
  • Being able to access Entering Invoices from the menus and modules.
  • Having the related tasks in the gray boxes and in different modules.
  • Having the road map set up in sequence so you know what to do next, so no guessing.
  • The Process Manager Window for reports.
  • Maybe the choice to enlarge the font and icons, but it's no big deal.
  • It saves time with automated accounting processes
Generating reports is easy with MIP Fund Accounting. The reports are easy to read. I have no problems with it. They're one of my favorite parts of MIP Fund Accounting.
I'm currently using it and plan to keep using it.
I've also used AS400. I like all 3 programs, but MIP Fund Accounting is the first fund accounting program I've used and I love it. I've seen other FA software, but they don't compare to MIP Fund Accounting.

I can't think of any scenario where MIP Fund Accounting would not be suited.

Support from Community Brands

Implementation of the product seemed easy enough. It was already in use before my first day. I've haven't had any problems using it. Neither has anyone else that I know of. System documents & modules are configured to our company's specific needs.
I've used View Help, the Customer Community, MIP Website and What's New for various updates, tips, and resources. I've learned things that I wasn't taught initially. It helped me get a better understanding of my position at the company and nonprofit accounting in general.
The closest I can think of is while looking around in the software, I discovered the we have the ability to make graphs with our reports that are already built into the software. We don't need to use Excel unless we want to make additional updates to already existing data. Community Brands doesn't assume that we all want to use Excel initially, but gives us the option to use MIP instead. That's exceptional support to me!
We use MIP Fund Accounting on-premise. The flexibility of it helps us with everyday transactions & activities. I feel it gives me a better understanding of nonprofit accounting. It helps me to understand what I've learned in college.

As far as I know, my company has always used MIP Fund Accounting Onsite. Just upgraded versions of it. It's the only software I know of that's been consistent here.
I can't think of any changes that need to be made.

My coworkers and manager trained me on MIP Fund Accounting. I got needed repetition on top of taking notes and the Help Menu options to enhance that. I need face-to-face interaction as I learn new software.
