Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro to teach undergraduate supervisions at the University of Cambridge. I have found that the platform has been easy to set up and great for both teaching and organising my student's work. I particularly enjoy the plugins available on the boards, these transform our lessons into a fun and interactive experience.
Pros
- Easy to set up.
- Quick to learn and use.
- Many useful features.
Cons
- If boards could be stored in files on individual projects.
- Line drawing becomes annoying when parts of the line stick to objects on the screen.
- Better education about shortcuts.
- It has allowed students to review sessions that they were unable to do in the past.
- It has reduced the setup time for my sessions by up to 10 minutes.
- It has allowed me to go paper-free.
Miro allows my students to easily organise their work. We do separate lessons on individual boards and each project is assigned to a different student. Studios are easily able to go back and review previous lessons and also to complete homework on their boards. Since it is so easy to set up students have no problem starting sessions with me.

- Zoom and Google Classroom
I found that students find Miro easier to use, as the front end of the product is much more simple and user-friendly than other products I've used in the past. Miro also gives you the flexibility to structure boards and projects differently depending on your needs. Miro allows you to store boards in a much more clear way which students find easier to organise their work.
