Overall Satisfaction with Miro

My team uses Miro to efficiently brainstorm and plan for upcoming events, deadlines, and more. My team serves as the secretariat for a large network of 90+ organizations working on a specific nature-based approach and uses Miro to help coordinate the network year-round, as well as the dozen or so working groups. My team uses Miro during the biannual network meetings to gather information from the entire network. Further, my team uses Miro to brainstorm for knowledge products and stories - Miro is a great service for this because simultaneous editing and collaboration are easy to use and really effective.

Pros

  • Simultaneous collaboration and editing.
  • Flexible boards.
  • Extensive options to add to boards.
  • Effective brainstorming.

Cons

  • Uploading videos.
  • More templates.
  • Streamlined view of simultaneous collaborators.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Reduced project completion time.
  • Improved engagement in meetings.
Miro is easy to use. The tools provided are effective and easy to learn. The upload function, including images and integration of Google Drive, provides easy access to links and documents for all collaborators. Miro is easy to implement based on templates as well, so new frames are not always required.
Miro is easy to integrate into existing planning and brainstorming mechanisms within a team, especially within a virtual team.
Miro has allowed my team to collaborate on new and existing projects, including brainstorming to expand our horizons and reach farther than before. The online whiteboard that Miro showcases is an excellent way to capture thoughts that can be referenced for long-term engagement and recollection. Miro is great to use across multiple locations, and also provides users with email updates as requested (great for those working across timezones whose working hours may not overlap exactly).

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is better than other online collaboration tools as it allows for seamless, simultaneous collaboration and is not as clunky as other products. Miro is great for screen sharing during meetings or events to provide live feedback and brainstorm all at the same time. Miro is an efficient tool that I recommend.
Miro is well suited for collaborating in a virtual workspace (like my team, which is dispersed across the USA). Miro is well suited for brainstorming during large group meetings and everyone can contribute as they see fit. Miro is well suited for creating flexible boards to plan ahead for anything that may be coming up - whether that is an event, a launch of a knowledge product or story, or long-term annual planning. Miro is also well-suited for fun games with colleagues!
