Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We used Miro during the pandemic as a virtual whiteboard where people could collaborate and share ideas. We had found that the Zoom whiteboard feature wasn't as interactive. When we used Miro, the dynamics of the meeting changed and we experienced some of the energy we did when we had in-person meetings. If you have teams that are in different locations, I recommend you consider using Miro for collaboration and meeting engagement.

Pros

  • Sticky notes and ability to resize and customize.
  • The simplicity of the navigation - easy to learn.

Cons

  • When you have multiple canvases, it can be hard to navigate on a small screen.
  • Increased engagement during remote meetings.
  • Increased creative ideas because it was a great brainstorming tool.
The implementation was quick and easy. There wasn't much of a learning curve and we were able to get our teams using it.
It was easy to integrate this tool into our meetings and workflow.
Miro had a positive impact to our organization's ability to collaborate on new projects.

Miro is very versatile and is a great tool for collaboration with remote team members. The moveable sticky notes make it easy to conduct brainstorming sessions and then categorize the ideas in real-time. The different templates make it easy to create a board within minutes. The ability to see how people are interacting with the boards is useful so you can track movements. Overall, it is a great tool and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a collaboration/brainstorming tool for remote teams.
