Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is used to collaborate during the idea finding/brainstorming phase and during the planning phase. It is very useful given work is done almost fully remotely in our company at this time.
Pros
- Mind maps.
- Brainstorming with sticky notes.
- Collaboration in a fully digital environment.
Cons
- Access rights - it is cumbersome and sometimes demoralizing for new users.
- Tables - not as intuitive as Excel.
- Free drawing.
- Improved feeling about team involvement.
- More clarity on task allocation across teams.
This has been Miro's best contribution, uniting colleagues working in a digital environment. The question is if Miro will continue to be as useful once there is a widespread return to the office.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
- MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
I was not involved in the acquisition, but I'm guessing access rights were more secure with Miro. Integration with Microsoft programs should be a plus, but there is some room for improvement.
Using Miro
- Collaboration in a fully digital environment.
- Plan projects using the RACI method.
- Better, more interactive presentations to replace PowerPoint.
