Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I used Miro for visualising and collaboration either individually or as a group. We use Miro to cover a wide range of use cases. Technical architecture diagrams, user flow mapping, team collaboration planning, and retros or workshops with wider stakeholders. We often use Miro when there are multiple people involved who need to view or participate in a team collaboration environment.

Pros

  • Collaboration.
  • Visual representation.
  • Multiple user access/editing.

Cons

  • In my experience, it's hard to keep track of links and passwords for users without a full account.
  • Improved collaboration.
It's very clear and easy to use for people that are new to Miro, it's good that there is a basic user account to allow people to create a profile and use the tool without each needing a full license.
Very easy to use for users of all abilities.
Yes, it's certainly me helped collaborate on new and existing projects, especially when working as part of a remote team.

Miro is well suited to any team planning exercises such as sprint planning, team retros, user flow mapping, high-level technical architecture diagrams. I'm unsure if it is as well suited for detailed technical architecture diagrams that have a series of different icons for different products or services, such as AWS icons or similar cloud services.
