Overall Satisfaction with Miro
From brainstorming and ideation to project management Miro is getting adopted by many teams in the org. Miro is available to everyone in our org, and we are using it for a variety of use cases. A whiteboard tool is way more than just a whiteboard. All the features and integration it comes with make it outstanding within its class. I have also used it for system design, mock-ups, and flow diagrams. And as far as I have experienced, the intuitive user experience of the tool makes it way more powerful and impressive which Miro totally does.
Pros
- Allows me to do system design, mock-ups and flow diagram.
- Presentation mode take away the hassle of putting content in PowerPoint slides.
- The timer and voting features make it so easy to conduct ideation sessions and various activities during workshops.
- My own notes are another feature I really like, as it allows me to keep my personal notes about the board and the session separate from the shared board.
Cons
- Can I add a signature to the Post-It notes? So I can see instantly who added the note. Currently, I have to right-click and go into info.
- Saving the board as an image and PDF could be improved significantly. The formatting of the exported files is not great in my experience.
- The limit of the text in the text box could be increased. I remember I had to create multiple text boxes as my text ran out of character limits.
- Improved productivity.
- Improved sharing and collaboration work with others.
- Easy to start a new project and archive it after completion.
We have team members working remotely and before working from home, we used to use writable walls in our space. That was fun but it had some drawbacks. The experience with this digital whiteboard (Miro) is very similar to a remote work situation. The good part is that now we can have our work saved and accessible from anywhere. The work is well-organized too.

I was directly involved in the evaluation process of the whiteboard for enterprise and the reason I voted for Miro is because of its impressive set of features. In the matrix for evaluation, Miro was one of the very few platforms that had all the features the team may use. I have used other platforms as well and the usability experience of mine with Miro was way above the rest of the tools.
