Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro throughout the whole organization for Design Thinking and brainstorming purposes, facilitating sessions with colleagues and clients to reach a feasible path towards digital innovation. Especially during the pandemic, Miro has been a key tool to keep operations going despite having a geographically distributed team working from home.

Pros

  • Facilitate design thinking sessions.
  • Brainstorm internal ideas.
  • Icebreaker for sessions with clients.

Cons

  • Limited colors on sticky notes.
  • Google suite integrations could be better.
  • Team and project management can be counterintuitive.
  • Improved engagement on design thinking sessions.
  • Improved internal productivity.
  • Better output from workshops.
Miro implementation is smooth and frictionless, regarding consultant plans.
Miro has a wide variety of available integrations, though the Google suite ones could be improved.
Miro has improved the involvement of colleagues and clients on projects, bringing more people together in an easier way. People from different countries can seamlessly collaborate, this way clients can be more inclined to participate in projects since the time effort is consistently less while working remotely, both synchronously, and asynchronously.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
Miro is equal if not better in all functions implemented by Mural, being at the same time as competitive in pricing and client assistance.
Miro is very good at bringing people together and collaborating on idea generation, using sticky notes, templates, voting, frames, and a whole different array of design objects. In scenarios where the object of discussion is purely technical and leaves little room for creativity, Miro is less suited but still a useful tool.
