Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it for online collaboration. It is especially useful during the lockdown as our teams can still work in a central virtual space. I use it to facilitate my Agile ceremonies. I also use it for quarterly plans. Basically, I use it for anything that I would have otherwise done on a physical whiteboard.
  • Great for brainstorming sessions.
  • Great for facilitating all Agile ceremonies.
  • Great for teams to work simultaneously on the same thing.
  • More icons, shapes, arrows, etc.
  • The toolbars are sometimes on the way and I cannot get rid of them on the screen - would be great if I could hide them when I don't need them.
  • Ability to make sticky notes bigger/longer.
  • Reduced the need to work across multiple tools.
  • Made meetings more efficient.
  • Made project teams more engaged.
I have not integrated Miro into any other product/tool. I use Miro as a stand-alone product currently. Our organisation uses Microsoft products so I use these independently to Miro. I would be interested in integrating it better into our existing platforms to see how this affects productivity and collaboration.
We use it a lot, especially during the lockdown. If we didn't have Miro it would have been really difficult to keep teams engaged on the projects. It would be really hard to facilitate sessions without this tool.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well suited when teams need to collaborate in a virtual space together. It's really easy to use so teams can start working on this together with very little training. Not suitable when needing to draw things - it may just be that I don't do it well? I find drawing on a whiteboard easier. There are limited formatting options e.g shading, borders, etc.
