Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Used for collaborative brainstorming and design thinking research sessions. Also used to document process mapping, ideation sessions, and Machine Learning model architecture/logic design. Also used to organize ideas and conclusions that come from collaborative user interviews (both internal and external user interviews). Currently mostly used to group "like" actions in processes.
  • Categorized sticky notes, easy to move around.
  • Ability to map out graphics in the background and move notes around on them.
  • Easy collaboration between multiple users.
  • Helpful for online collaboration/whiteboarding sessions.
  • Make it easier to download.
  • Made collaboration easier with COVID pandemic and working from home.
  • Allowed brainstorming sessions etc. to be saved more easily.
Very user friendly/intuitive to learn.
Very easy to use, not as easy to integrate with other products that already exist (ie Google/Microsoft Suite).
Helped immensely for collaboration with remote workers during the COVID pandemic.

Miro provides more flexibility than Jira for kanban boards. Less structure/ability to make groups of pages than Confluence, harder for those who used Confluence/Wiki structure to learn.
Jira Software, Atlassian Confluence, Microsoft Office 2016 (discontinued)
Well suited for collaboration and brainstorming sessions with groups.
