Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Since the pandemic began, collaborating together with my team on a whiteboard was almost impossible. Decentralized working became the new normal, so we were in need of a new solution. Then, we came across Miro and were satisfied from the very beginning. We use it in our department to structure complex projects that involve a lot of people.
  • Collaboration.
  • Aligning Content.
  • Presentation Mode.
  • Aligning Arrows (no magnetic help).
  • Reusable text formats.
  • Add dark mode.
  • Tremendously improved productivity.
  • Reduced project completion time.
  • Improved team cohesion since everybody is involved.
Some form/graphic elements are missing the magnetic alignment feature which would help in order to achieve a clean visualization of content. (e.g. the arrow).
It just feels like taking a pen and starting to paint on a white paper. It is really intuitive and easy to use.
After the pandemic began, working remotely became the new normal. In order to not lose any productivity and creativity, we needed a replacement for our white "offline" paper.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
The overall structure of Mural wasn't quite clear and easy to use.
Suited well: - Design thinking processes - Mindmapping - Clustering complex sets of data.
Less appropriate: - Paragraph texts.
