Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We're currently using Miro for our PI planning events within the ART I support. There are nine teams that rely on this platform four times a year, and the PI planning event's Miro board becomes the single source of truth for the entire ART throughout that PI. It's an indispensable tool in our planning process.
  • Real-time display of other contributors on-board.
  • Extensive features/functionality for the "digital whiteboarding process".
  • Extremely easy to navigate and learn to use.
  • There's some difficulty understanding who can/can't create more than three Miro boards associated with the unpaid account level.
  • CPU usage can be very high from the web-based app.
  • Sometimes real-time syncing isn't quite real-time.
  • Improved coordination across various teams during planning sessions.
  • Seamless virtual planning sessions in a time when in-person planning isn't feasible.
  • Removed the need for in-person planning, saving the company thousands on travel and accommodations for employees once a quarter.
No additional insights are other than what I've mentioned in previous responses to this survey.
As mentioned earlier, the UX/UI is extremely intuitive - I haven't heard of any of my teammates who rely on this for PI planning having any issues learning the platform. I was thrown into using Miro for the first time during PI planning on my second day after joining this new team, and I led the planning session's documentation on Miro for my team. With zero prior experience and zero training, I found the platform incredibly easy to use and adapt.
Please see my past answers for more information. The ART on which my team exists relies 100% on Miro for its PI planning events four times a year. Without Miro, these digital sessions would not operate as seamlessly as they do.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I wasn't involved in the decision-making process to use Miro, and Miro has been the only product used as long as I have been on this SAFE Agile ART.
As mentioned earlier, Miro is extremely well suited for planning sessions (quarterly planning, PI planning, etc.) with distributed teams that can't always be together in person to plan. Personally, I've only ever done PI planning events at my company using Miro (never in-person), as I joined immediately before the pandemic. It's proven to be an extremely useful tool to where I feel like I'm participating in person...but through my computer.
