Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro as a virtual pinup space for brainstorming design concept ideas internally, and for brainstorming workshops with clients. It addresses our need to pin up photos and post-its and floor plans virtually. These workshops used to be in-person, and now they are arguably more beneficial virtually through Miro!

Pros

  • Importing images.
  • Ability to re-size objects to their original state.
  • User Friendly.

Cons

  • Selecting specific things to print.
  • Improved productivity.
We do wish that Miro could be implemented within Microsoft Teams but recognize they have their own (less capable) whiteboard space.
Easy to navigate for those who have innate computer navigation skills, trickier for those who are not as adept. Takes some training.
Positively - Remote collaboration has been particularly helpful across internal disciplines located in other offices

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Very well suited to design brainstorming, client brainstorming workshops, and collaborative planning meeting. Can also be useful in assembling presentations where multiple people are adding to the "soup." Less appropriate for individual tasks.
