Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro across the whole organisation. It works perfectly for collaborative brainstorming sessions and research for internal teams as well as a tool to plan, run and facilitate workshops for clients. Miro helps to create accessible creative space that is easy to share. It recently became a must-go-to tool for quick pitches, pushing keynote & PowerPoint presentations to the background.
  • Workshop planning and facilitation
  • Brainstorming and mindmapping
  • Creative collaboration
  • Presenting creative material
  • Compatibility with certain browsers (every now and then it hangs in Safari).
  • Login in desktop app isn't smooth when you have to use third-party authentication apps like OKTA – it transfers login session back to the browser and it's a pain to use the desktop app at the end of the day.
  • It would be perfect to have more flexible tools to work with text in blocks, easier style copy & paste.
  • Overall as a keynote power user I'd like to see more functionality from the app in Miro.
  • Reduced project completion efforts and productivity.
  • Improved team collaboration culture.
Sometimes it's hard to quickly onboard people to Miro and the process of working in it, especially outside of my organisation, especially when it is a new client. One of the biggest issues usually is frustration with giving access to edit the board and not very flexible access management options.
Because I assume so, I'm not in charge of Miro integration.
It helped a lot. It just does what it has to – gives you tools to write down ideas online, draw simple figures, quickly discuss things, and saves time for teams that otherwise had to go to the office during the pandemic to gather in front of a Flipchart for everyone to be able to participate and throw out what the have in mind to the table.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

You need to plan a huge workshop or present a big project that has a complex storytelling structure and is very hard to navigate in – Miro is perfect for this type of job, especially for bigger teams. Also Miro is perfect when you have a certain framework and set of actions that you have to repeat regularly, especially in structuring complex chunks of information. But I'd say it's not that suitable for top tier management teams presentation or engagement.
