Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for brainstorming, braindumps, project planning, not taking. We use it across the whole organisation. This solves the problem of being able to easily convey ideas, designs, and plans.
  • Brainstorming.
  • Planning.
  • Easily conveying ideas, diagrams, processes, and timelines.
  • Too much freedom to select scale makes it easy to miss things.
  • Zoom to fit option would be nice.
  • Miro board search panel could be improved to add links to Miro boards.
  • Miro has made online meetings more productive by providing a visual and natural form of interaction.
  • Miro has made collaboration easier, especially in the design and brainstorming stages.
  • Miro has made it easier to track the progress of projects, as project milestones can be easily conveyed.
I'm pretty satisfied with the implementation. Sometimes I find it is overused in places where it may not be appropriate. At the moment it is not a great substitute for more formal project planning tools such as Jira.
Often, Miro boards are linked to each other, but this can become hard to navigate as links between Miro boards are not shown well.
Miro has made informal collaboration in real-time very effective. It is the only tool that I use for designing systems collaboratively in real-time online.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro adds the collaboration element to essentially join a design tool with a project management tool.
Miro is great for informally conveying ideas and plans. It falls through when it comes to more formal project management.
