Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to do some design sprints and workshops with clients to resolve business and communication problems. My team and I design exercises using Miro and share them with the client team so everyone can work together using the platform. Sometimes I also use Miro as a mind map to organize my ideas in one place.

Pros

  • Group exercise
  • Mind mapping
  • Frameworks
  • Beautiful boards
  • Perfect for online workshops with more than 30 people.

Cons

  • Better UX experience
  • More design examples for online workshops
  • Improved productivity definitely, specially on workshops.
It could be more simple. A lot of people that don’t know the platform has trouble using it for the first time.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
Miro is more friendly and it doesn’t have many bugs.
Great for online workshops and design sprints with a lot of people, but sometimes the UX experience is not that simple for people who don’t know the tool very well. Also, there is a lack of more elaborated frameworks’ examples. It could also have some tools that let us create our own design on the platforms.
