Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used in specific departments, editors are several people, and the whole company is viewer/commenter. The use cases are depending on the business unit, but the main goal is gathering feedback and interactive meetings (workshops, working groups within the team, etc). Besides this, Miro is a great tool for visualization when you are working in an Agile environment - for example, the clustering of the first draft of user stories or the planning of the whole project is done in Miro.
  • Brainstorming.
  • Gathering feedback.
  • Agile timelines and boards.
  • The shortkeys are a bit hard to combine with the mouse movement, something I am getting confused about even though I am using Miro for quite a while - for beginners, it's not quite intuitive.
  • By default, I don't enjoy the view with "history changes", maybe it's better to be turned off whenever you are entering, not manually.
  • Reduced project completion time - since the excel or project management tools; visualization of user stories do not "excel" all the time, Miro is a good alternative.
  • Improved response rate and feedback gathering.
- As I said earlier, for beginners, it's too much to digest from the beginning - especially if they are not so open to another application that it's appearing in their life.
Excel and Data processors apps integration should be a bit better, in specific times it's really needed to be able to export the data you had there in a data environment - I like how there are tons of apps available which you can integrate, a big plus to that.
Definitely, I can notice a positive change in our collaboration - especially because of the international team aspect we are having. Moreover, since face-to-face meetings are no longer the first option in these pandemic times, Miro offered the alternative we all need in order to collaborate and not have a noticeable change in it.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Well suited: - brainstorming within the team for a new feature - gathering feedback from different stakeholders - process maps and flows - planning of a new project - retrospectives, planning, or any other Scrum ceremony. Less appropriate: - It's pretty hard to note down and store important data there when you are going to need it in another environment (like in excel format or something similar).
