Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro as the primary tool for recording the actions items, reviews, and outcomes of some of the Agile ceremonies e.g Planning, Retro, Backlog refinement, etc. Also, we use it for creating and recording the technical solutions easily, with business/technical flow diagrams. The sticky notes/ emojis etc are really cool. During the team discussions feature like bring everyone to me, timer, etc really make the collaboration easy.
Pros
- Sticky notes, emojis, flow diagrams with connectors.
- Collaboration with "Bring everyone to me", sharing the link of a particular section on the board.
- Timers.
- Emails with Miro updates.
Cons
- It is a bit slow, especially when it is being used by many teams simultaneously at a given time.
- Less time spent on planning and designing.
The browser-based feature is really helpful in sharing the notes/diagrams across teams, also the authentication features make sure it is accessed by intended users.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
I was using Visio for flow diagrams and other UML diagrams. Miro seems lighter and easier than Visio. Also, the online sharing part is not present in Visio.
