Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I first used Miro for a project organized by a partnership between my university and several branches of the French administration. As we mainly worked from remote, we mainly used Miro as a board to advance on our project, keep track of the evolution, show the whole roadmap to the client. Thanks to its tools we also learned new processes and concepts which turned out to be very useful for the success of our project.

Pros

  • Intuitive and nice design.
  • Display roadmaps and processes.
  • Organization and easy reorganization of items.

Cons

  • Hard to select a single element.
  • Color palette relatively limited.
  • Limited number of models and boards.
  • Reduce information imbalances.
  • Allowed asynchrony comments.
  • Guided the client through our work.
Very intuitive and immediate to approach, the ideal tool for students or people who have no time to be trained on a complex working tool. Also once I started using Miro for a school project, I kept using it for personal projects. Cartographies and visual roadmaps became crucial in my project management processes.
Very easy to integrate.
As already said, Miro proved to be the perfect tool to keep up with the rest of the team while working remotely.

Nicer and easier to use.
Miro is the ideal solution for teamwork, notably if the team works remotely and does not have a physical space where to display its advancements. It allows creating intuitive and visually pleasant short content which can be easily reorganized according to the different stages of a process. By contrast, it does not fit projects for which long text documents and excel sheets must be analyzed continuously
