Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro both at the University, where I am a senior lecturer, and in Yandex, where I work as a data science product manager. At the University I use Miro to organize work for the entire class. Teams of students create boards for group projects and put [heir all the notes, documents, MindMaps. At Yandex, we use Miro for Mind Mapping together with the team, and event to create documentation on the service technology.

Pros

  • Mind mapping in teams
  • Sharing visual documentation on services
  • Prototyping mobile products

Cons

  • Attaching comments to nodes in Mind Maps
  • Moving nodes in Mind Maps
  • Guest access for boards
  • Reduced communication time.
  • Improved knowledge sharing.
  • Helped to pass Covid time by providing boards with share knowledge.
There are some bugs with MindMapping and accessing the board. But support is very helpful and helped me to find workarounds.
I've used just integration with Google Docs and it worked great. But last time I tried to add a Google Docs link to the board and it didn't work. I'm still figuring out how to fix it.
It was really great to have Miro at hand while working remotely with the team during covid times.

I see several scenarios: - MindMapping when brainstorming and planning - Creating visual documentation on the data flow - Creating the board with all project documentation - Using it as a Whiteboard during lectures - Prototyping mobile applications - Showing Users Scenarios - Brainstorming with sticky notes - Posting meeting results in the visual form.
