Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It is used by certain groups during some of our courses to facilitate brainstorming, collaboration, and ideation. It helps us to be more flexible than other tools (e.g., PowerPoint, etc.). Group sizes are typically 3-6 people per board. We use Miro on an individual basis and sometimes hold workshops that are based on Miro.

Pros

  • Collaboration amongst team members (everyone can bring in their ideas).
  • Clear structure of workflow is enabled.
  • Integration of elements is nicely done (e.g., uploading pictures, PDFs, etc).

Cons

  • Handling on the laptop could be enhanced (mouse already helps).
  • Improved Productivity
  • More efficient teamwork
It runs on every browser quite well, so I do not see big challenges for integration.
I helped a lot and made sure everyone could actively contribute.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

  • Zoom
Easier to collaborate.
Especially, at the start of the project when you are laying the groundwork of how to proceed, Miro helps you as you can freely design and equip the board with the material you wish. To use Miro throughout the whole project (and not just for one workshop or so), there is a lot of effort required to actually build very nice boards in advance.
