Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro helps with Creative Problem Solving. I took a Wicked Problem Solving Course a year ago and it helped me understand how to use Miro to implement "plays" on uniting with team members on ways to share ideas across the board and solve problems. These Miro platforms enable a space to present information and a place for others to interact with the plays that you have implemented. It is a great tool for the organization as a whole and even for an individual to move past creative blockages by jotting down ideas in a way that can be easily organized and applied elsewhere.
  • Creates an environment for collaborative thinking.
  • Allow you to apply Creative Problem Solving solutions with the various tools and robust environment.
  • Gives you the space to organize your thoughts in a unified space.
  • Allows you to share ideas with others easily.
  • The interface is easy to navigate, anyone can use it.
  • Perhaps adding images or icons.
  • More security with the boards.
  • More feature to allow you to control your boards more.
  • More colors to choose from with the sticky notes.
  • Return on investment.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Reduce time in strategy planning.
There are many courses that are based on the implementation of Miro. Some of them are larger investments than others however, they all provide different ways to strategize and solve problems using Miro. Miro seems like a problem-solving platform however it is also great for delivering and presenting information internally.
I would give it this rating because it is easy to maneuver in and is very straightforward. The tools used within the program are very basic and easy to navigate. There are so many gaps in the use of technology within corporates teams. You see people from all backgrounds and generations working together however Miro is a great tool for all backgrounds.
Miro has impacted my organization's ability to collaborate on new projects by creating a space to share ideas that everyone can see within one platform. It is so easy to get lost along the collaborative process by utilizing so many different programs and platforms, however, Miro has indefinite capacities that allow my teams to use in their own ways to share ideas or give feedback.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is the closest thing I've used to Miro. This program allows the team to collaborate on input and ideas however it is very limited in space and tools. The team does not have the space to draw or leave sticky notes for questions or comments. Also, the app is limited to only focusing on one document versus the ability to move around a workspace.
Miro was well suited when trying to develop more ways to implement a DE&I mission statement. It is less suitable when trying to collaborate on a multiple-page PDF or motion graphic. When the team is developing a new strategy, the program works well with us being in different locations geographically.
