Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to collaborate with colleagues during brainstorming sessions (real-time updates are great) and then develop rough prototypes of final outputs that I share with the client. I also use Miro to help articulate the thought process around developing client vision and mission statements and provide logical links between key themes (e.g., vision -> mission -> OKRs) using the large canvas and formatting tools.
  • Real time collaboration
  • Adding comments and notes to others work.
  • Large canvas space divided into easy to manage frames.
  • Ability to turn off seeing other users mouse position - this can be a distraction.
  • Ability to convert into a ppt presentation for internal consumption/sharing.
  • Reduced time to iterate and brainstorm on vision/mission statements.
  • Helped increase credibility with clients.
- Miro has provided us with a good platform to collaborate on and see who is contributing to the end result over time.
- Features and tips provided within the tool are intuitive and require minimal time to get a handle on.
- Haven't seen a simple way to bring the charts/frames designed and developed in Miro out into PowerPoint (aside from a screenshot).
- A simple export feature here would be great.
- Further integration into MS Teams meetings interface would also be valuable.
We have not used the online whiteboard. However, the collaboration of our team using the core Miro features has enabled us to share initial thinking within the team, iterate this and then expose working draft copy with clients for them to comment on - very helpful in saving emails and attachments.

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

- Initial brainstorming of ideas.
- Collaborating around a specific topic/challenge and adding 'post its' / ideas onto a canvas.
- Having clients review and comment on deliverables that are a work in progress.
- Exposing some of the thought processes.
- Less suitable as a final exec presentation tool.
-> Typically need to transfer final output into ppt to present on.
