Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro mainly for school as a University of Waterloo student studying Architectural Engineering. We use the collaborative platform of Miro to work on our design projects and have our professors critique our work by being able to mark up our drawings and presentation using Miro and point things out in real-time. It’s been extremely useful for virtual learning since Covid-19 and I may continue to use it because of its features for group projects.
  • Collaborative Whiteboard
  • Real time Markups
  • Ease of use of tools and features
  • Ability to add so many different notes, shapes and text.
  • When using a mouse sometimes the controls that have to do with zooming and panning don’t work very well and take you off the Miro board.
  • Some features are not intuitive to use and without clarity, it would be difficult to operate.
  • Improved Productivity
  • Improved Teamwork
I don’t have many key insights regarding implementation it’s just a pleasure to use!
I’m not quite sure what the question is asking me and therefore don’t know how to rate it. It was easy to use as a part of our course!
I’ve mentioned this already but it’s been super helpful to be able to review and annotate group work with ease.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I think it combines the best features of both products and has the collaborative aspect that not both of those products have individually
Miro has been extremely helpful for virtual collaboration on my design projects and even just any other group project to brainstorm ideas and pull up precedents from other sources. It’s a great way to collaboratively approach work and have everyone involved in the process because everyone can just go out and pull up content and put it on Miro and explain it using the text tools so everyone in the group can see.
