Overall Satisfaction with Miro

In our company, we use Miro mainly for brainstorming in small working groups. Lately, we also used it at a bigger event across different company sites for an activity to better learn to know each other. The big advantage of Miro is, that it enables brainstorming online. You do not need to be all participants at the same place together. It is accessible from home (especially now in pandemic time).

Pros

  • Brainstorming in small groups
  • Organizing tasks/ goals in a group
  • Organizing personal tasks/ goals

Cons

  • Bugs when accessing the user interface via sent email link (bigger events).
  • Some employees had difficulties finding out how to edit their sticky notes. They found it not very intuitive (bigger events).
  • Flexibility for brainstorming, easier to organize when part of the people are working from home and others in the lab.
  • Better organisation so enhanced productivity.
I am not used long enough to be able to really share key insights. I am so far satisfied with Miro.
Miro is quite intuitive to use. It is designed to be as close to conventional whiteboards as possible.
Miro was introduced to our company during the first wave of the COVID pandemic. It was an appropriate tool needed especially from this time point on, with the new distance created between people (home office).

I was introduced only to Miro, I do not know other similar products.
Miro is very well suited for brainstorming and organizing work-related personal and group tasks/ goals on a daily basis. Especially when employees are working from Home. Everyone is included. However, it needs some improvement regarding brainstorming in bigger groups.
