Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for discovery and research within our product organization. It's great for a small group working on problems that we need to address to build a better experience. It allows us to collaborate remotely and at our own pace. The templates are helpful for getting started with new problems and especially helpful for someone new to [the] product. It is also used for organizing and presenting information for employees for example when working on career paths and progression.
  • Templates
  • Real time collaboration
  • Importing media
  • Exporting to PDF or other image formats
  • Wireframe library could have more selection
  • Reduced project planning time
  • Used as a source of truth
Works on all browsers we use well. I don't really use the app much. We have some organization to do since we merged our licenses from two different groups, but that isn't up to me. I do like to use frames to organize a single board better.
It was easy to get on board, but this isn't my responsibility.
Many groups went remote at the beginning of the pandemic and we merged teams over the first year from many different parts of the country. Being able to still work together so easily while so far away is amazing. Now that my location is closed and I am permanently remote, it's one of my most used tools.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro beats out the other options I've used for its wealth of components, templates, and other features. It's not as clunky as another and more robust than another competitor that was recently introduced.
It's perfect for brainstorming and developing a research plan for a feature update, especially when it requires cross-team collaboration. We have multiple big initiatives starting and Miro is where we get started building out a plan and deciding what is best to do and in what order.
