Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Brainstorming and Ideation of new projects and products are primary use cases. We like to collaboratively brainstorm using premade templates, usually facilitated by an experienced person to guide the group. The additional features that allow you to make your own templates, timers, and voting, help the group to stay on task and generate new ideas quickly.
- Collaboration when brainstorming around new ideas.
- Allowing all voices to be heard.
- A lot of existing templates that can inspire you to use Miro in new ways.
- WireFraming of websites, site mapping, and user journeys are very quickly and easily done.
- Selecting templates for a new board is not super easy and intuitive. You also cannot start a new blank board, then convert it to a template.
- Integration with other platforms like Google Suite and Click Up could be improved.
- Some of the UI abilities are missing some basic features; like Table, borders can only be a solid color - no opacity allowed, alignment of elements and auto spacing is not as clean and intuitive as something like Figma. Auto Distribution of elements doesn't work quite right especially when auto distributing grouped elements.
- No discernible ROI.
- Improved collaboration effectiveness when group brainstorming.
Brainstorming and ideation for new projects have been very effective. The features available in Miro for creating and customizing the boards are very good and allow project-specific changes. The Miro boards are more feature-rich when compared to other products like Jamboard. Remote workers distributed across the country have been able to collaborate on new projects to get things started much more quickly.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
The other products that have been tried had fewer features and also the interface for navigation was much more intuitive in Miro allowing quick adoption by new users. Interacting with the feature elements e.g. moving blocks around, aligning things, adding and customizing the text, was much faster and simpler in Miro. The response time when collaborating was also very good in Miro.
