Overall Satisfaction with Miro

With the virtual world, Miro makes collaborating so easy and fun. We do large group workshops and everyone loves to be hands-on on the board.

Pros

  • Fun - stickers and colors of all options
  • Easy - step by step directions available
  • Creative - it is nice that you can copy and paste/upload whatever you need onto the board

Cons

  • For the lock feature, it would be cool to have permissions - some people can edit but others cannot
  • Brings teams closer together
  • Gets work done quicker - split into teams, get stuff done, then easily present
I believe Miro is very easy to integrate into the virtual world; a lot of people are excited when they see it as part of a meeting. Others do not like the "complexity" (so many things you can do with it). I do wish having a password was optional for each board. Some boards do not need privacy.
We can, and have, worked for hands on with individuals from all over the US and world.

We use both products for their varying functionality
Google Drive, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
Large group, virtual workshops/orientations have great success. Sometimes not as tech-advanced individuals struggle to grasp the movement and functions.
