Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for our client work. We use it specially to design and deliver amazing and engaging virtual workshops. Clients love using the tool and it really works for our needs. We also use it to create lots of logical models, such as business capability models, technology capability models, and mapping of processes and dependencies.

  • Miro has improved our note taking during virtual workshops by over 80%; now we can copy/paste instead of reading and typing each one up.

  • We can sometimes use Miro for four hours a day, and it's great!
There was no implementation for us. It's a SaaS-based product and so it came off the shelf. We were ready to go in a matter of days/weeks once we had decided to use it. We are not allowed to store any sensitive information in the tool itself for privacy concerns.
Miro has been one of our go-to tools to use for virtual whiteboard or workshop sessions with clients. It's amazing, as you can design beautiful environments to work in and get many bits of feedback to questions or answers all at the same time. It's awesome!

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
I prefer Miro--I'm not sure why--but I think it has a nicer UI and also seems to work more logically to me. It tends to be our team's go-to over MURAL.
It's just great and does mostly exactly what you want. I love its infinite size for the whiteboard. I would recommend using Miro for virtual workshops with clients, drafting up some thinking, using it in teams to collaborate, and using it as a retro for agile ways of working. There are so many possibilities.
