Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro's to create user journeys that help clients determine target state processes and marketing opportunities for their clients
  • Collaboration - the ability to work together with team members and add in comments and changes
  • The ability to create templates to share designs and create consistent outputs
  • Ability to put multiple boards in one large workspace
  • Some of the functionality around locking frames and grouping can be confusing
  • Wish there were more straight arrows rather than curved (like visio)
  • Make navigating around the board vs moving objects more intuitive
  • Miro has improved our productivity in creating deliverables for the client that is easy to share
Miro was implemented well in our organization, as an end-user I don't have too much insight into the process but there were no issues on my end
Miro was good in terms of integration, it was easy to sign up and share boards when getting started
Miro has allowed our team contains people from multiple Geographies to collaborate on projects without the need of an in-person whiteboard

I believe the two products are very similar. As an end-user, I did not have a choice in the purchase decision but I believe they stack up similarly.
Microsoft Visio, MURAL (formerly Mural.ly), Atlassian JIRA Align (formerly AgileCraft)
I think Miro is well suited for brainstorming where multiple people can be on the board and collaborate at the same time. It is also great for process flows that contain a lot of detail like user journeys
