Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to collaborate in bigger teams. Sometimes it serves us as a whiteboard to facilitate virtual meetings, other times as Kanban to visualize and track the progress of work. One time I used it for visualizing more complex processes which I had to create/update - it was good to be able to link post its and map interdependencies.
  • Map a process
  • facilitate the meeting
  • kanban
  • Miro seems to be overwhelming for new users
  • With mouse scroll, I would rather like to zoom in and zoom out rather than move the screen vertically
  • It will be hard to measure direct impact since it is only one of the tools
  • Positive - ability to map and visually present more complex projects / initiatives
I was lucky enough to have colleague who was working on Miro for a while so he showed me some of this boards and templates - it helped
The tool itself is complex which is on the one hand advantage but especially for less digitally savvy colleagues it may be a barrier
It is easier to paint the whole project, map, and mark complex interdependencies. I would say that it is easier to bring everyone on the same page with complex projects

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Jamboard is fine for simple meetings, but nothing more. Trello is missing this visual part
It seems complicated and overwhelming with functions at the beginning but once you get used to it it is a great tool. Adapting to it requires some time and it is good to watch someone using it before you go
