Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to aid in collaboration for remote teams. I frequently host problem-solving and collaboration sessions, and Miro is my standard go-to facilitation tool. I use it for lean improvement discussions, planning sessions, agile ceremony facilitation, and training. It is easy to make work visual and guide group work. I appreciate that it provides a way for all participants to "hold the pen".
  • Infinite white board
  • Easy collaboration
  • Simple, easy to use templates
  • Connectors between stickies can be confusing
  • Onboarding new users more easily
  • Converting work pages into shareable format without snipping
  • Improved speed of collaboration
  • Decreased time spinning in meetings
  • Improved understanding among remote teams
It helps to start with users that are more adept with it, help show the organization what you can do with it. Help new users by sharing the onboarding video. Help new users by doing a simple exercise to get them familiar with the tool.
I do not often use integrations, difficult for me to answer.
This is my go-to tool. In order to collaborate, members need to be able to easily contribute, and Miro is a great tool to let participants share in real-time.

Easier handling, more templates, better look.
Jira Software, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Microsoft Teams
I like to use it in all remote scenarios where ideas are best made visible. Two-way communication, or more, where individuals need to have the ability to add contributions. Not well suited for one-way communication because navigation can be a distraction. Problem-solving sessions are great. Whenever buy-in is important, democratizing the session through Miro is helpful.
