Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is embedded in many of the key systems we use to run our business. It allows us to be more efficient with the use of our team's time by working asynchronously on things like user flows and collaboratively in real-time on things like team-building workshops. We picked Miro up at the start of the pandemic, but we'll use it even as we start to have more in-person meetings. It has all the features you need in a collaborative board, which makes it a little more involved to use in one-time user workshops. In those cases, Jamboards are easier to use, but Miro is completely superior in all other use cases that I've encountered.

Pros

  • Asynchronous collaboration environment
  • Templates for use cases
  • Timer, music, and voting for workshops

Cons

  • Onboarding content is too complex for one-time basic workshop
  • Reduces number of meetings
Better onboarding for base user
We like to use it as a tab in Teams to make it easy to access team member profiles
Able to work together on many projects even when we're not together
