Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro most often to facilitate strategic planning conversations in our organization. Particularly for the brainstorming and prioritization parts of the discussion. It's a great way to bring all voices into a conversation without requiring a lot of "air time" to get each person's point of view on the table. These conversations can involve anywhere from 6 to 16 people impacting an organization of about 150 people.
Pros
- Brainstorming
- Driving discussion
- Prioritizing
Cons
- Icons are confusing
- Navigation is difficult
- Features are overwhelming at times
- Not all features are self explanatory
- Productivity increase
- Time management made easier
- Inclusive conversations
Our company is already adept at coordination across time zones and boundaries, but this is another great tool to allow for different modalities of communication, being more inclusive in conversations in a way that keeps things moving at the pace we need them to and enabling asynchronous work. I think this has made people more comfortable with shortening meeting times because we can get information out on the table beforehand and focus our meetings on topics that need to be discussed vs. cataloging information.
