Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to build user flows, user journeys, and process diagrams. Miro helps me address the problem of laying out complex processes for business stakeholders, developers, UX designers, and more. Many processes are difficult to reflect in the written word, and Miro has been a very intuitive solution to providing visual diagrams and flows.

Pros

  • Easy user interface
  • Dynamic shortcuts to connect nodes in a diagram
  • Snap-to functionality to keep symmetry in designs/diagrams
  • Useful templates

Cons

  • Inadvertent swimlane resizing when moving nodes within/between swim lanes
  • Can't have more than one font size within a shape
  • Wish I had dynamic headers when scrolling!
  • Better stakeholder understanding of concepts = reduced bottlenecks
  • Improved productivity
  • Improved cycle time after implementing process improvements
None other than some light functionality tweaks
I have not integrated it into any other apps yet.
I have not used Miro for anything other than work I've completed solo. I've only screenshared my Miro boards or have had others collaborate asynchronously.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro's UI is cleaner than Lucidchart. Lucidchart feels like a clunky Windows OS while Miro feels like a smooth iOS experience.
Miro is a prime solution for sticky note boards, user feedback, user flows, process diagrams, and system diagrams. It's less appropriate substitution for presentations or slide decks.
