Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is a nice tool to increase collaboration. It is so easy to start building up ideas, planning, designing the architecture of software, or even representing the problem we currently have to have a big picture of the things. The integration with Jira is also nice for big corps and how it integrates well with the Miro features - and it is important to say that they are always improving the workflow of it every day.
  • Dynamic Collaboration in general
  • Post-it organization
  • Jira cards on board
  • Flow linkage drawing
  • Mind maps
  • Jira card state flow change
  • Improved productivity by allowing people to do the same thing at the same time
  • Improved visibility of things/status/situation
  • Easy to find things when needed (not possible in a physical board)
  • Improved visibility of other tools in a single place
I believe the shortcuts make life easy and the placement of the items around the screen. The screen stays as clean as possible. It can be a bit crazy when you have multiple people, and you see a lot of cursors but you can hide them - the point of improvement is to see only the cursor of the person you are currently following the view.
It is easy to integrate into Miro because if you have any previous experience with a whiteboard, post-its, or anything to take notes and/or do organization. There is no mystery, and every new user can get used to it quickly. Even complex boards can be understood easily just by playing with the board itself.
The impact is clear and meaningful. Having the possibility to work on a board anywhere continuously and at any time is nice. Coming back the next day and seeing the upgrades from a different team at a different timezone is also something that is amazing. People will go to the board, fix things, add changes, and the next day, you have the notification that things were changed.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

They have a similar goal, but sometimes they are too rigid in their workflow. Miro gives us more freedom to play with the information on the screen, group them, duplicate, etc and in the end, the information is still in sync in the place where the company needs it to be.
Miro is great when you have a team spread among multiple places because the collaboration happens smoothly. It is not recommended when you have a small, local team and you don't need to integrate with any tools, but even with small teams, it can be good when you need those dynamic integrations (e.g. Jira, etc) or want to have a board that you can access anywhere.
