Overall Satisfaction with Miro
In my company, we're doing Team Retro's which is a review of where the team is against objectives and to collect input from the team about what went well, and what needs improvement. We also share moments of gratitude and appreciation where everyone takes a post-it and shares what they are thankful for, e.g. great support from a colleague, being able to work from home, etc. This creates a nice and collaborative atmosphere in the team. The Miro board allows everyone to participate in these virtual or hybrid meetings and it makes sure that everyone is heard. It's relatively user-friendly, it only takes 1 or 2 sessions to practice in order to get familiar with the basics. There are a lot of great features which make the virtual meeting smooth and fun to use. I'm only using the board once per quarter, therefore I will not invest more time to learn advanced features and am happy with the basics but there is a lot more to explore for anyone who wants to use the tool on a more frequent basis.
- Great design of the workspace
- Intuitive user navigation
- Allows everyone in a big team to be heard
- Unlimited creativity on how a workspace can be customized to ones need
- I like the music feature on the timer, it's fun and allows everyone to focus
- In our company library are many templates with similar names which are created by different people and it's hard to find the official company template. It would be great if official templates could be placed in a different folder or marked somehow.
- Enabled virtual workshops while everyone worked from home.
I participated once in an international 3-days workshop which would have usually required 10 or more people to travel to one place. For such longer workshops, it can be very exhausting to follow the discussion actively for 6 hours a day and, of course, it's also a nice part of workshops to meet people face-to-face but in these circumstances, it was a productive way to get things done.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
I wanted to use the MS Teams Whiteboard for collaboration and then realized that only one person at a time could write something on the board which was not effective with a team of 20 people. So we couldn't use it and used Miro instead.
